Where to get these stuff!?
I came across this car http://www.bmwmotorsports.org/x5_pho...11-1543310.jpg I really like those white lights, but I need to know where to find these pure white headlight, and those little side marker white lights. If someone knows please tell me Thanks you all

Yea stock trim looks nice painted, but that pic shows the X with an aftermarket front bumper. Also those are factory headlights that have been cleared. You have to bake them to open them, remove both high/low beam lenses, and remove the turn signal amber reflector. So the good news is that it cost $5(silicone to reseal) to do. The bad news if your not mechanicly inclined you can't buy them from a vendor. Do some searching on clearing headlight plenty of info, Goodluck Rob

Agree.
Bake open the headlights and paint the side piece w/ some titanium spray paint. also it looks like the black piece was removed for painting, remove the waffles as well and this will def. make the car stand out and give it that new look.

So this means the only option I got is to DIY, remove the amber reflector and paint the black waffles?
If thats the case, then what about the tail lights? are those self removable? or I must buy new ones like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-X...spagenameZWDVW Thanks again |

Unlike the headlights, you cannot change an existing amber tail light to clear. You have to purchase a set of clear tail lights to replace the amber lights. But it's a simple 10 minute job to remove and replace them.
The picture you posted is a A.C. Schnitzer show car. Bavarian Autosport (www.bavauto.com) carries the Schnitzer body kits. |
