:xoutpost: Stukes! Your X5 is lovely and it's nice how the Canadian X5's with the Activity Package get the aluminum running boards. (I assume that's what you got and I remember that there was an Activity Package option with ski bag and running boards.)

Nice mask too. If you ever want to join an aging rec league hockey team in Southern California we'd love to have a goalie of your caliber. Good luck to the Flames. Hopefully Kiprusoff and Iginla can get them past the Ducks. My Canucks sputtered out.

For 2006 BMW Canada calls it the "executive edition"; only other options available are the sports package and Nav. I opted for the sports pkg and not the nav.

Oldtimer hockey? I enjoy playing in tournaments - how aging is your aging team? I play in the 40 and over league/tournaments...If I fit the bill age wise, I would love to join your team in a tournament. I am in excellent shape and my goalie skills remain fairly sharp!

Kiprusoff is an awesome goalie, I too hope he gets some scoring punch in front of him to ease the pressure a bit...Yeah the Canucks had a tough season, lots of pressure on Auld and it was likely difficult to be booed every night when ever Bertuzzi touched the puck.

"Executive Edition"??? That's an interesting way to sell it. I still find it funny how the CDN market, even though it's just north of us, get's some different stuff. I remember in '02, I think it was, CDN X5's came with an interior colour called Mahogany. It was niiiiice. Too bad we never got it here in the States. Good call on the Sport Package over nav. That's what I chose.

On to hockey.... My "old" team is not quite old enough for 40's but we do have a couple of guys up there. Most of the team is in the mid-30's. I play on a Sheriff's Department team and we need the help. We have been trying to get to more tournaments but did make it to one in Scottsdale, Arizona a month or so ago. If we ever get our act together to play in a tournament in Las Vegas that would be a great one for you to make a trip of. I'll definitely keep you in mind. Your skill level is very impressive.

I think we'll need to start a playoff hockey thread. There are quite a few hockey fans here in The Lounge.

Hey don't feel bad. You talk about funny, and feeling dumb. It was a comedy of errors for me trying to figure it out. Even after someone gave me the instructions. I still screw stuff up but like you say"it is always great to learn something new"

Nice Ride. As a fellow Albertan, I would love to hear your story about the previous X5 Lemon. Curious about how well it was handled and which dealership worked with you (BMW Gallery, Calgary BMW or, if you are in my neck of the woods, Bavaria or Edmonton BMW).

Also, as a fellow Albertan, we'll have to touch on the potential for a Oilers/Flames face off this post season. It is possible.
