Question 20" Wheels & Tires

Just need some feedback from you folks that have 20's. What is the width of your wheels. From what I am seeing is that they are 9.5 for the fronts and 10.5 for the back. Also, what offset do I need for each? Lastly, what size tires are you running so that there aren't problems as far as accurate spedometer readings? I don't know if it makes a difference in the year but if it does see me sig below.

Just to throw it out there; since I didn't really think about it at my time of purchase.

The pros of the Staggered fitment;
They look real aggressive in the rear. That about says it all.

The cons of the Staggered fitment;
You can't rotate them compared to having same sizes. This may lead to uneven wear and as I have encountered tire feathering...

and another pro with staggered....315's on the back provide amazing traction over a 255 rear tire or a 275 rear tire.

Cool, thanks for the help guys. Looking at an aftermarket set on eBay that are basically the 132 style, which is what I am looking for. Now they are triple plated chrome, also what I am looking for, any suggestions on where to get lugs? I don't want to use the factory black ones when I get my chrome wheels will look kind of silly. Also, am I going to need spacers?

The lugs(bolts)are always supplied with the new wheels!You cannot use your existing ones due to the different bolt seating on the wheel

You do not need spacers,if you buy wheels with the offset above.

Hey guys, your local resurrector of the old threads here... Been reading on OEM/non-OEM rims replacement (20"), found the page which says my OEMs are 9.5 front and 10.5 rear...

Found a set (ebay, eh) which is 8.5 front and 9.5 rear -- called the shop, they unsured me that my michelins 275/40/20 front and 315/35/20 back would sit no problem on these aftermarket 8.5 front and 9.5 rear rims...

How is that possible? It's like fitting the 315/35/20 tire on the current (style 87) front rim -- am I missing something here or is that impossible? No, I'm not talking of putting the 315 tire in front, I'm just asking -- is it at all possible to mount the 315/35/20 tire on the rim which is 20" diameter and 9.5" wide?

Not true... off the top of my head, I know that the 275/20s that I've looked at require a 9-11" wheel, and the 315/20s require a 10.5 - 12.5" wheel... I'm sure it varies a bit from tire manufacturer to manufacturer, but I think this range is pretty consistent. (Here's the link to the manufacturer's specs provided from Tire Rack for the Yoko Advan ST)
