How to brighten Xenons?

Hi all... I have a 2001 4.4 with xenon low beams...I used to have a 2001 330ci with xenons that were much brighter than the X5's.
Can anybody shed some light (haha) on this subject??

How do you figure out which one's are brighter? And are there any concerns with installing them?

in my knowledge all Xenon's are 35W but with only color temp. 4500k (daylight), 6000k (more white/blue) vs. 7000k (more blueish) etc, the later might sometime looks brighter but the higher temp. you go you will lose the distans of light!

So...having said all that, I wonder what type are fitted to the 330ci as opposed to those in the 2000-2003 X5. They are worlds apart in light quality??
