Strange Noise
Occasionally when driving off after the X has been parked for a while I hear a knock under the passenger footwell. Has anyone else experienced this? It is a 2005 3.0d Steptronic

Could be the webasto kicking in, do a webasto search on this forum for more info!

I had the same noise, dealer exchanged axles, noise wasn't over, then the exchanged differentieel noise was over, this happend at 14000 km and was over at 34000 km (2005 X5 3.0D).
This is a problem that they now off.
