"lowering within peramters" dealr says

i am gettin my car checked for an oil leak...and as it turns our they have to order a new part.....

BUT

while its in there i asked them to lower it for me and they said that "if lowered to low it could set off all the lights" which i have heard here before....so they said they will lower it as much as they can "within the peramters"....does anyone know how much lower that is?????(4.8is)

Lowered mine 25/20mm via DIS and was well within parameters. No issues. Any lower and I would have alignment checked.

You have to have the alignment checked if you lower it at any rate. Even just 10mm.

Sorry to go offtopic, but Dinan, did you have your X lowered? If, so, which dealership did you have it done at?

No i have not lowered mine. But was thinking about it. BMW of North Haven will do it for you. It only takes like 2 hours. I dont like That dealer in general though.
