Bimmernav Bluetooth

I have a 2004 4.8is and wanted to make sure that the Bimmernav kit will actually work with the BMW system (Steering Wheel, Navigation). The 4.8 has all of the original components in the back but the dealer can't seem to tell me what my options are. My vehicle was manufacturered on 6/04. The dealer says that he has a bluetooth option but it will affect my assist which I don't use anyway. According to Bimmernav their components will function with everything in my car. Anyone installed this system?

Quite a few people have - this is 100% compatible with your X5 w/ NAV and utilize all of the features as if it were installed from factory (and using BMW factory parts).
