Smile Seattle newbie

Hey Guys,

Figured I'd say hello after lurking around for a while.

I recently traded in my z3 for this "new-to-me" Topaz Blue on black '02 x5 3.0. She's SP, PP, WP, and all sorts of other fun stuff. I've learned alot from the forums, articles, etc about the e53 and love this car more every day. If you're around Seattle, please say hello.

:xoutpost: Nice ride! Topaz blue is a popular color - check on dblock2151 - he recently posted some very nice pix of his after a car wash.

One of our members is moving the Pacific Northwest and wanted input on his choices of Seattle versus Portland. As a resident of Seattle, you are qualified to chime in on this thread:

Go ahead and take a shot at Portland.

I've had two other BMWs, Jet Black, and Titanium Silver. I think the Blue is my favorite. My brother actually owns a Topaz Blue e46 330i so at least the touch-up paint costs can be split.

:xoutpost: Nice looking X5. Topaz is a very nice color. It was tied for second on my list, along with Black Sapphire. Steel Gray won out.

I will be in Seattle for about 7 hours for a stopover. How long does it take to get from Sea-Tac to downtown by shuttle? The wife and I need to kill some time so we thought we'd hang out in town rather than sit at Sea-Tac.
