High Miles 3.0

What problems, if any, are noticed at the 90k + mile mark with the 02 3.0? Have had it for awhile and LOVE it!

It's a good time to get the belts changed along with the waterpump and thermostat. Definately want to change the driveline fluids if you haven't done so already.

Haha, nope, Paul (Zulu95) pretty much has the answer. Take it out to wash it and wax it, and on VERY good days, I'll take it out. It'll be driven a lot more this year though.

Valve Cover Gasket will be leaking, Power Steering will leak from at least one location. If you don't see those 2 at 90K you are in the minority.

I've got a 2001 3.0 (AUG 2000 build) with 95K and I have a minor leak in the power steering just like THE CLEANER stated but don't have a Valve Cover Gasket leak. I also have a minor rear control arm issue. I replaced the waterpump around 50K.

Thanks to all for the waterpump & valve cover gasket info. So far all is dry after cleaning and inspecting the beast! I'll keep an eye out though. No major issues reported pleases me greatly. Lots of highway miles don't really concern me though.
