So I installed the RS-4 pads. I turned the rotors and bedded them in. THe pedal is spongy now and it seems like they don't grip as well as the Axxis ultimates I had on there before.
Is this what you guys experienced? |

No. feels the same as the old standard pads but 1000 times less dust.

spongy? try bleeding your brakes.
Porterfield has very linear braking characteristics unlike the ultimates (higher initial bite)... I find the RS-4 to be easier to modulate and it can grab harder than ultimates when needed when it gets heated up. |
