Who uses a Verizon Razr with the X5 Bluetooth?

Does your calls sound like they are underwater and it is not a good clear vocal from the speaker as compared to hearing someone talk on the radio?

In my Jeep Grand Cherokee the vocals from blue-tooth were just as clear as sat. radio talk shows.

Do I have something set incorrectly? My phone book loaded up perfectly and the phone connects right away.

Any advice?

I use a E815, which is suppose to be the same design as yours.

It works great.

I did up until recently. I don't recall any issues that severe. I experience the worst connections when the windows are open.

I have the Razor - just notice at times callers sound distant, kinda echo's/almost slight delay ...

Hmmm, did you turn up the volume on your RAZR....My wife has the Pink Verizon RAZR and it works and sounds fine in both our 2001 X5 and 2004 M3. I do have the ULF -522 module (one of the newer ULF modules) which I got from Martin @ Bimmernav. The RAZR BT sound is clear...maybe you need to adjust your bass/treble or DSP settings or your mid-range speaker is blown. Granted the older BMW uses the Visteon BT Module, but I haven't heard about any complaints re: sound quality with the Motorola BT units in the BMW which is probably what you have.

I use the razor, sometimes people tell me that I sound distant but unless I have the windows open, it's fine.
