I look at it this way say the pad is 15mm thick (NEW) and you can get 30K out of a set of pads your talking about 2ooo miles of driving to wear 1mm of pad. Used rotors have at least 1mm in grooving. Thats why I think bedding will not solve this particular situation. Whatever process you use, bedding will not use up that much pad.
