The New X????

There's an article in the latest BMW magazine, Speaking
about "Great things are Happening in Spartanburg, SC" Page 74.

In it there's a small Q & A with plants president Dr. Clemens Schmitz-Justen: he speaks breifly about adding another "one-line assembly system"

then he drops this bomb:

[What are your long-term goals for the spartanburg plant?]
"As the Exclusivce manufacturer of the X5, now in it's sixth year of production, we look forward to it's successor in the future.The CEO of the BMW Group, Dr. Helmut Panke, has announced that our plant will be producing a new vehicle in early 2008."

so... smoke and mirror's?

What are your thoughts on where and when production will start on the NEW X5?
