Question M Wheel Install and Warranty...

if i installed the m3 steering wheel in my x, would it void any warranties? plus, i know this is very specific but if i took this to an auto shop or customizer, do you guys think they would install it? thanks a lot i appreciate the help, im new around here.

I can't see whee it would cause a warranty problem. Would you consider installing the wheel yourself? It's very easy and there is lots of info on how to do it on the forum if you do some searching. I'll also be happy to assist you - "virtually" of course...

i guess i could think about it, im really scared to mess something so major like that up haha.
im pretty far from doing it anyway (funds wise). but yea, i guess i could give that a thought. thanks for the help.

You are using OEM parts, so there's no reason why it should have an impact on the BMW warranty.

It's not that difficult to DIY. The only real tricky part is getting the old airbag out. Once you get that the rest is a walk in the park.
