Nice wheels. No fastening bolts too - lucky you!

Looks Fantastic Dave. Great Job. Do you also by any chance have a tunit box in place?

Cheers,

Thanks for all the feedback. One thing I really do notice with the Michellin's over the Bridgestones is a quieter ride - ie. less road noise.

Cheers,
Yep, and am very happy with it - it's been on the car for about 3500 miles and I'd hate to be without it. The power is increased over the whole range. Also an increased top speed - 135mph recently in France (measured accurately by a GPS based speed camera detector - micro road pilot), the car still wanted to go faster but my wife wouldn't let me. She had no complaints going 150mph in the M3, however

Regards,

Dave

The wheels look ace Worth the wait HUH ! I am kind of thinking I should get the wider wheel arches now ! You got a real good deal ther BMW Quoted me £500 just for the arches ! Enjoy it. What version of the tunit box do you have and which setting do you have it on ?

Sorry, didn't mention that I paid an extra £550 for the arches (including fitting). Which is kind of a lot since the kit consists of 6 bits of plastic which are bonded on to the existing arches. Going back to the dealer later since the rear arches (attached to the bumper) stick out about 5mm from the ones on the rear arch - ie. no smooth line (the photos don't really show this problem). I think BMW put too much bonding glue on them, hence they are not as flush to the bumper as they should be.

The tunit box is the V-CR. I currently have it on setting 6, which is perfect for my style of driving.

Regards,

Dave
