Tune up questions?

I need to know what I need for a tune up on my 2001 3.0 X5? What brand of spark plugs, or stick to OEM? Also what else is involved or needed?

I'm going to do a tune up on my 03 3.0 this weekend...i got the oem plugs, which are actually the Bosch with the 4 prongs. I will also replace the fuel filter, cabin microfilter, oil/filter change (Castrol syntec 5w-30, oem filter), and redline differential fluid, also replace the coolant (oem).

What makes one think they need new plugs for their car?
Miles?

I suspect the oem plugs are good for 75K miles +...maybe a 100K.
