Saw an X5 4.4L with 290.000Km/179800Mls

Yesterday saw a BMW X5 at gas station with 290.000 and car looked great. Metalic blue with Sport Package. Owner said mantainance at this stage is expensive, but till now didn´t had a major problem with it and said it still pull strong. Nice to see an X with so many miles and still in very good shape
What the highest millage X from this board?????

Wow, that IS inspring! But Im slowly learning that BMW's can take some serious miles..I sold an e34 last week with 186,000 miles on it. On the other hand, and forgive me for the brief hijacking, but this is no joke..I have sold 4, thats right, 4 Audi A4's in the last 10 weeks. EVERY SINGLE ONE of these cars, from completely different sources, have suffered catastrophic transmission failure. I mean, NEW transmissions...Not one of them was over 104,000 miles! WTF?!?!

I'm at 101K, just the expansion tank and those hoses that turn into bubble gum. The usual maintence, rotors, brakes, and Mobil 1 5w30 every 8k miles.

You think that the X that has more than 130.000Km hasn't replate the transmission. Here in Italy we all speak in the forum of X about the gear box which break after this period, it's terrificant. I have 50.000Km and I'm really afraid
