Houston Imola 4.6is is on a distinguished road
Grose Ile huh... I had a college roomate at Albion from there. Forgot his name... graduated HS in 1988 or 1989. I just moved from Royal Oak to Houston 3 years ago. How are things in the Motor city? As bad as I have heard?

The MI economy as a whole could be better, but overall I still love this area of the country. I lived here from 93 until 2000, and moved to the Chicago area from 2000 to the end of 2003. Moved back to Grosse Ile because this was "home" and where I wanted my kids to finish their middle school and high school years.

We live in Huntington Woods (small sleepertown adjacent to Royal Oak, for general reference). I love the area, and Royal Oak has just about anything.

I only lived here for a year - I moved here from Denmark - but as mentioned the MI economy is not doing too well. (Luckily?) my wife got transfered to Chicago - so we are about to leave. House prices in Huntington Woods is starting to drop now, and twice as many houses are on the market this year, than last - so things could definatly be better. We are not going to get caught with two house-payments, as we get a buyout, but friends of ours cant sell their house so they are probably moving back soon. Its a shame, but Detroit is definatly not doing well.

On a more cheerful note - this year will be the first time I get to see the Dream Cruise on Woodward
