I think BMW should do away with that rotary temp control and just use the digital to control the temperature. They are trying to do too much!

I love the rotary temp control - only car I've ever had where I can have toasty warm feet but a bit cooler air at the top. I've had many vehicles and I think the X's system is the best I've had. Very easy to keep the temp just the way I like it.

Yes, ours drop down to about 1/3rd speed to maintain temp, and is barely noticeble.

We leave the temp-wheel in neutral and rely on the auto-AC temp, which works really well.
