URGENT: Locked my keys in the car
I locked my ONLY set of keys in the trunk today. I called BMW Roadside, and they said I could do is order a new key. I went online and read that I could pop the key cylinder with a flathead screwdriver and hammer. So I tried doing this, and I was able to remove the silver part, butI couldn't get the whole locking cylinder removed. I can't seem to figure out how to open it. The instructions I read were for a 3 series BMW; does the X5 have a different locking mechanism? Can you open the door this way, or did I just mess up my car? I would apperciate any advice you guys can give because the car isn't parked in the best area of town. If anyone in SoCal is willing to help, I'm willing to compensate them.
