Where can you actually drive really fast? Most likely anywhere if it's 1-4am...

Nice X5 pare!
You're a Filipino? Glad to know there are some pinoys here

Dude, I agree with you. Technically there is a speed limit in our country but sad to say no one follows it. I usually speed up when i get to the freeways. I do 210kph whenever I'm on skyway manila bound and several times on the new NLEX But dude! my rides are not as cool as yours! M5 and X5 V8!!! Cool man! Mine's only the 3 liter diesel But it's more that enough for everyday use in metro manila traffic.

Am planning to "retire" (second time ) again in 3 years and will split my time between Maui and Tagaytay and Pangasinan.I thought maybe I would just ship my X5 out there but the import taxes are very prohibitive but I priced an X5 at a Manila dealership and it would cost me $85000 for the same model I have here that cost $50000!

On a side note, I bet you have a chauffeur to drive you around in that X5. Nobody drives their own cars out there. Full-time chauffeurs are only $40-$60 a month! That's why my wife and I are coming back there in January
My X5 is daily driven by me No chauffeur for the X5 I find it very uncomfortable to ride at the back. The suspension is just too still for Philippine roads I have the expedtion for my driver to bring me around. Call that car ugly or gas guzzler but it sure is comfy!

BMW's or any german cars in the philippines are overpriced! You're x5 is not only worth 85k in manila but it's not 100k! hehe I have the 3 liter diesel and we got it for 100k same sa the gas 3 liter model. There's a good deal in the past. They imported the 4.4 v8 but no one is buying it. They were offering it for 7 million pesos originally but lowered it to 6 million. Too bad we already got our unit. Or else that v8 sounds like a good deal to me

Btw, how much would you pay for the import tax of you're car? If it's much lower that getting a bnew or 2nd hand unit here the bring it in. However, I'm afraid that some customs official would extort money from you if you don't give them bribe money even if you have paid everything correctly. If you're a filipino, " nakakatakot magpasok ng auto dito kasi baka ipitin ka sa customs" unless you have connections
