Intermittent window auto up/down problem and door locks

Well on my X, the windows act up some times. They sometimes work when I use the auto up/down feature and they also don't work on occasion. But the windows will still go up and down, just not automatically. Is this a window regulator problem you think?

Also has anyone had problems with door locks? When I unlock the doors with the remote, sometimes they all unlock up after 2 clicks and sometimes only 2 of the four doors unlock after 2 clicks. Same thing with unlocking it from the inside of the X. They seem to be "sticky" maybe and don't want to go up.

Yup, window regulators and door lock actuators

I've had this happen, most times the auto works. But occasionally it doesn't.

i've had this issue with one window in particular. the rear window on the passenger side will sometimes go down when i'm trying to get it to go up and vice versa. of course, this only happens sometimes and i'm 100% positive i won't be able to replicate the problem if i bring it to the dealer, and they'll look at me like i'm crazy and hallucinated the problem. i guess i'll just need to wait until it poops out entirely and bring it in then...

Does this happen with all windows or just one or two? I can't imagine that all 4 of your regulators are going out at the same time. (I have had 5 replaced but never more than one at a time. ) Also, when my regulators went out, the symptom was that the window went down and would not go back up. Therefore, I am not sure that your problem is window regulators.

It is also strange that more than one lock actuator would be having problems at the same time. This all leads me to believe that it is probably more of an electrical gremlin with your locks and windows.
