Do you think this system (Megacool!!!) would fit in a 2001 X5 with glass sliding roof? I have the 'Bordmonitor', TV, phone and nav options. I noticed you didn't seem to have a sunroof? I have a AUX in(?) connection on the rear of my center console.

The unit is located in place/position of the removed centre lamp assembly but it is fairly far forward so as the screen is not in the rear passengers faces! I doubt you could have this size of screen or indeed any with a PANO roof; headrests are probably your only option? But do not know! I do know that its location is critical with respect to side air bags and alarm sensors as orginally I had planned to have two units one each side but not possible with this size of sreen.

OK; thanks for the info. I do not have the PANO roof, I have the 'old style' glass sliding roof. From what I can dig out of acc. info broschures, there seems to be a mounting kit for the kind of roof I have.
I have another problem in that I plan to mount an antenna in the roof. But there seems to be a lot of wiring and stuff related to the air bags, so that might not be an option... Do you know of anyone drilling a hole in the roof? Towards the rear of the roof obviously...
