My car has been in to a local ICE specialist (based in Leamington Spa) on a number of occasions without success. I was wondering if any other X5 owners has had similar problems - perhaps a compatibility problem.
Basically, I have the BMW rear entertainment system installed - 10 disc DVD etc etc - but this is separate from the front screen/TV. I also have the dension IPOD cradle. What I have wanted for sometime now is the ability to source the DVD through the front screen and also the ability to source TV through the rear screens. Also, to have TV in motion. This local ICE specialist, who I have used for years and they do know what they are doing - are starting to lose patience with the company that they are getting the necessary lead(s) from. Basically, should just be a matter of plugging a special lead in!! But, when they do, the system doesn't work as it should. The problem, they think, is down to the dension ICE link, maybe!! A company in London have said that my system may need recoding (can't remember what box they need) and they can do this for Ģ120 - the cable should then work. Anyone else had similar problems?? Regards, Dave

I have both a TVonNav in-motion module and a Dension IceLink Plus and I haven't noticed any major compatibility issues.

That is such a dangerous product...please be careful when using that TVinMotion while you are in Motion!
Always wear your seatbelts.

Also watch out for the tv in motion units messing with the computer. I can't get my seats programmed anymore because of that switch.
