Looking at the pics and the Russian Steer Magazine link. If you look at the road marks to the front of the car and lack of road scarring to the rear, it would indicate the car is facing the opposite direction to the direction of its travel. its been up on the grass verge, scarring can be seen and accounts for the grass on the tyres etc, in front of its final position. The debris is mainly from when it came to a halt but a lot is from the cutting crew accessing the cabin and giving FA in the interim.

Its does look like its dropped down because thats effectively what its done its popped up and spun round and then dropped down rear wheels last, see that from the broken glass fragments at the rear.

The sandal seems irrelevant as it has not been cut off, standard practice on removal from a casualty. Most modern car accident fatalities are from major internal trauma and therefore a lack of blood at the scene means nothing to the outcome for the casualties.

Yeah, I found my own CLK on that site a couple years ago. He took it off after I complained that he had done it without permission.
