IPOD without running cable? Help.

Can i just install IPOD without running cable all over the interior. I just want it somewhere in the back and control it on the radio display. Is it possible?

I leave mine behind the driver's side access panel in the left side of the rear cargo area, and control it via the steering wheel controls.

Me too! you need to number the 5 playlists you want to access using iTunes so that you can access them thru the corresponding CD selection buttons on the head unit (you can't use #6) e.g 1Dance, 2R'n'B, 3classical etc.

To use the buttons on the head unit, yes, numbering them will ensure they come first in the sequence and then you can access them from the first five buttons. That doesn't matter for the steering wheel controls, however. I have a lot more than five playlists, and I access all of them (1-5, and the rest) from the steering wheel controls using the latest Icelink Plus firmware.
