What can I do if my leather is all...

Hi there, Iīve been wondering if thereīs a way to replace my driverīs side leather , which is kind of messed up. My X5 has the nappa leather which is softest than other xīs and thatīs the reason why now it has wrinkles and the color is kind of faded. I contacted my dealer and they said the seat runs for 5 grand... any suggestions? thanks

5 grand? LOL.

You can probably find one for a few hundred dollars at a salvage yard.

Our m3 side bolster was worn out and the dealer did some sort of dye that made it look like new.

you can get the seat skin from the dealer and have an auto uphostery shop put it on for you... much cheaper then 5k... i would call the parts team at crevier or rob_ and get their input...

Leatherique

This is a leather restoration system of products that fills in cracks in leather and they provide you with the darn good match of OEM colors. you can do it yourself with some patience.

Forget trying to replace your seat or the leather! It will cost an arm & a leg. I had a local company come out and completely restore my seats. They cleaned the seats and re-dyed them by simply rubbing in some kind of leather dye. They look amazing now like brand new! The dye never rubs off either...I was concerned at first, but it turned out so good, I even had my 540i seats done! I'm sure you can find someone where you are...
