Newbie question

Hello all, I am new here and am looking for some advice on purchasing a new X5. My wife is interested in the 3.0 after an exhaustive search for an SUV. Looked at them all ---- Acura MDX, MB ML350/500, Lexus GX470, Tahoe, Volvo XC90, Toaureg, Cayenne, new Audi, Saab (uck!), etc...the X5 is at the top. We are in the Balt/DC market and are wondering what discounts are being offered off of MSRP on new X5's. According to Edmunds TMV pricing (what others are paying), they have new X5's being sold at $100-250 over invoice. Has that been your experience in purchase price? We have been to VOB in Rockville to test drive.

Thank you for your time. Any help/feedback would be greatly appreciated.
