Another Newbie Question

Thanks for the warm welcomes and responses to my first question. I have one more if I may.......If you get Navigation, do you not get a CD player that can be accessed via the center console. i.e. behind the Nav screen?

That is correct, it has a cassette behind the screen.

Install a Dension IceLink Plus in conjunction with an iPod and you'll never need a CD.

Actually, it would be the DICE kit now - the ice>Link Plus is being discontinued.

You get a cassette player behind the nav screen, and you have to buy the optional 6cd changer. So look at it this way, when you drop the extra $$$ for the dvd nav, you get to lose the in dash cd player and get an obsolete cassette player instead. And then you get to pay even more for a cd changer!? Someone at BMWNA is a marketing genious, lol!
