CanadianX5 is on a distinguished road
AC fan quit.( help)

Has anyone had there interior fan quit on them? The one for heat/air cond. If so what was the problem and how much did it cost to fix.

I would say final stage resistor. Not sure on exact cost, but I think that they are around $75. There is a DIY article on the home page.

Sound exactly like the final stage resistor. Mine was like that for a while, untill it stoped working at all.

Just buy one at you dealer, its a easy change!

Its working today...........next time it stops I'll order the resistor.
The advise and info we get on this board must piss off the stealers.
They probably would have charged me 300-400.

Mine just stopped working!!

It was working last night and then today it wouldnt work at all.

I could feel a little bit of cold air coming out but it was like on the lowest fan speed possible if that.

Is it the resistor you think?
