Attention Toyo owners....

For those who bought Toyo Proxes for their wheel setup, what mileage are you getting for them? I'm at about 20k+ and they are getting pretty loud, so I guess I'll have to spring for a new set.

So far, I've been pretty satisfied with them. They handle very well and give a smooth ride. Any other reviews are welcomed too.

Thanks for some more info on these tires as I'm considering these as my next replacement. How badly are they worn? If it's just a noise issue, I might be OK with that since my current Bridgestone have gotten loud from the rears with ~24k on them as well. I"ve heard that the Pirelli are doing the same. Seems all tires do tend to get a bit louder once they get wear out, especially these wide ones. Is the noise only from the rears or are all tires getting loud?

seems like the noise is primarily from the front, but that's probably b/c its closer to me when driving. also seems like the fronts are wearing faster than the rear, but not sure if that's normal for a staggered setup. I put all the tires on at the same time 2 yrs ago, so I may just get all replaced.

Are you happy enough with the Toyo that you'll replace them with the same?

I thought they were good tires. Since they're M&S rated I can keep them on a little longer throughout the year and only have to switch to my winter set Dec-Mar. Plus, I think I can find them cheaper than Diamaris.

I had some problems with my fronts with the staggered set up. I had feathering in the front and it caused alot of noise at only 8k miles or so. I got the extra warranty and after some trouble got the two fronts replaced.

The feathering caused so much road noise every time I came to a stop. I got a run around from the tire shop about getting them replaced but I finally did get them replaced.

I don't have any experience with the Diamaris, and with the huge price difference; I say stay with the Toyo's since you didn't have much problems with them. If you are just replacing them now because of noise, I think you may be able to keep them on a little longer since we are in the heart of summer right now.

I don't know how many miles I have on my Toyos but I do think they're getting a little loud.

I can get a full set of staggered 20s from Onlinetires.com for about $800 shipped. Anyone else have a better deal someplace else?

I had a feeling these tires were going to get loud. I have a little over 5k on mine and I can already hear them, but no big deal yet. I am not completely happy with these tires. For the money they are good but now that I have experienced them through different road conditions, I feel the Diamaris are superior tires in every catagory except price. I think at this point, if you have the dough to spend on the Diamaris, do it. If not then the Toyos are certainly good enough, just not great like the Michies.

I'm definitely happy with the look and price of the Toyos. I am very curious to hear some realworld feedback about the new Yokohama Advans. I just can't stomach paying as much as they want for the Diamaris.
