Mother F*r!

I got in a car accident yesterday (a truck in front of me dropped an ottomin in front of me and I clipped it at 75mph, bottom line?

-Smashed fender
-Scratched bumper
-guess how much that costs?
2600.00 *grr*

I have to go take stuff out of her tomorrow so I will post some pics assuming they have no started

Quick question, my hood vent is cracked for some reason, I want 4.4i hood vents, they will fit right?

I found out btw that the once the side trim and grille have been removed they cannot be put back.

Sorry to hear that boi. Damn those Ottomans! (The furniture, not the empire.)

There is no difference between 3.0 and 4.4 hood vents. They fit the same.

The "side trim", if you are referring to your door ding strips, can probably be re-attached with adhesive but you're better off getting new ones.

The grilles can be removed and re-attached. I've done it and so have a handful of others. I removed mine to have them painted to body color and put them back on. So long as the clips aren't all broken, they can go back on after removal. (I have an '02 but I would assume that the facelifted grilles can be re-installed just the same.)

Really? The stealer said they could not be reattached (its at BMW of San Diego's body shop which btw is amazing) I'm excited about the 4.4i hood vents, It and the alloy gauges were the only 2 things I wanted to fix.

Sorry to hear that. An ottoman beats a ladder, which I hit on the highway at about 75 about a year and a half ago.

Well I was in the X5, so it just went right under the wheel.. No damage. It was a huge ladder. If I hit it in the 330, I wouldn't have enough clearance and it would have done a lot of damage to the engine, suspension, etc..

You seem to be a magnet for accidents.

And you're an insurance adjuster. Hmmm...
