modding early list!?

Hey im gonna start modding early but need some help from you guys.

I am supposed to recieve an 05 bmw x5 4.8is somewhere in june/july. And some of the things im lookin for are:

1)6000k bi xenon bulbs and xenon fog light (plug n play wit ballast and everyting) also 6000k.Would the fog light bulb size be diff if i have an aerodynamic kit wit my 4.8?

2) Are there any chips for the X5 kind of like the "shark injector" where you can install it and uninstall it yourself really easy.

3)Whats the best intake for the 4.8is x5?

If you guys do have time can you please provide the websites to where i can look this info up or maybe even where can i purchase these products.

Maybe it's just me but you're getting a damn fine ride with loads of power. I don't think you should mess with it and certainly not right away if you're going to do it at all.

The lights are a little easier. I know that BreytonX5 did replace his bulbs so perhaps he can help you. The xenon fogs are available from, ahem, Umnitza but their customer service and reliability as a retailer is in question right now. The lights themselves are fairly new. There are a couple of guys here who have been running them and I am waiting for some long term feedback from them before I do it. I believe heat is the main issue with them.

www.globalautoshop.com
i ordered one from like 5 months i really cant remmber it was priced for about 3oo dollars but it havent reached yet i dunno wats the problem but i advice not to play with air intake nor the air race filter cuz i had a bmc air filter installed in my car and it ruined my airflow sensor so0o i had to0o buy a new one and i installed my stock filter back

beware if you're going to change the fog light with xenon, but am not 100% sure. I owned 3.0L with no xenon,I've tried to put xenon on my car and the comp is reading as check the low beam, I did put the relay(or circuit) and it still didn't work. I went to BMW and the told me that I have to change the computer inside.

regards

You don't need to change the computer from the inside. The reason why you get the check low beam light is b/c of the voltage difference between the HIDs and the rest of your car being 12 volts. I am not really sure of the specifics off the top of my head right now. But you can get or build a...what do you call it...sorry too late to think...I guess we'll call it a "converter" for now... so that you trick your computer into thinking that there is no difference in output of power.

It is crucial to find a good Cold Air intake...b/c if you get a bad one, you will actually lose power. As for the computer programming...the only company I would go with is Delage. They are an official race company tied with BMW Motorsport in France...the downside however is that you will have some down-time as you have to send your 4.8 computer all the way to France to get it redone.
