more and more SUV are installing a lpg tank in belgium, in my dealership for lpg stood a lot of cayennes S /turbo...530i...

I don't have any performance loss, lpg has +/- 100 octan so a better burning process and much better for environment!! take that anti-SUV people! lpg is much more cleaner then petrol, and the dirty diesel

My tank has 70litres and I cruise about 500km on highways.
my installation cost was about 2500euros

will take some pictures this weekend.

I also put it instead of the spare tyre.

I didn't have any of those problems you mentioned ... but I didn't installed it myself. i will ask if they had to reallocate some things

Would like to see pics of install. Did you have to relocate the Nav. system and CD changer? Thanks in advance.

Found this link of a UK firm the does LPG conversions.
They use a lifting fame that allows the battery to stay in place
