One of the mistakes in your pics is that you have camera lens facing the trucks head lights behind your X5. One of the golden rule of photography is the light should always come from behind the camera or else you will confuse the auto cameras of this age and end up with a dark pic.

If you are going to shoot with the lights facing you, you will have to shoot in manual mode to compensate for what the light. But can get some nice special effects that way.

i did shoot in manual mode. it was hard to do because i get the light bulb. not the glare of the light.

What kind of camera are you using? Do you have a light meter or can you use the meter from your camera? Check these out.

Shot at iso 200, f8, 5 sec exposure.

That's not even fair. Kirby's photography and post processing is stunning. Everything about his photos is perfect and some of the best automotive photography that I have seen. I could spend hours looking at his work.

That blue F360 ain't bad either.
