video Module dead!!!

Hi all! Please help me! I drove my x into 30mm water several days ago, after that, my LCD monitor was dead. It just shows nothing but black screen. I got my x to the dealer, they told me that the video module was dead. It must be replaced. In HK, all Xs do not come with navigation computer. I just wonder if I can replace the video module by myself and where I can buy a new video module. Is it easy to replace the video module by myself? Please help me!!!!

The video module is located down in the spare tire well in the rear of the vehicle. And it's right next to the radio module and PDC module, so it's possible those could be affected as well if it got wet back there.

As for replacing it, it's very easy to do. Just two swing-arm connectors make it a simple plug-n-play swap with a new module.

Watch eBay for a replacement, but be sure you get one that is for a 16:9 screen. And if possible, see if you can get one that handles digital TV signals so that it's not obsolete sooner than it needs to be.

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply! My LCD screen is 4:3, not 16:9, is it ok to replace with a 16:9 video module and use 4:3 screen monitor? My PDC works well, radio sometimes works sometimes doesn't work. By the way, how much for a new video module with digital tv function?
