replica wheels vs. oem.. help on identifying diffs

I wanted to upgrade my stock 17” wheels on my 3.0 x5 and instead of getting the replicas tried to get used 20” oem’s. found some on ebay and just recenctly received them and am trying to confirm that they actually are oem’s and I didn’t get scammed (would like to give the seller the benefit of the doubt, but want to confirm)… and yes, I know I shouldn’t be soo cheap on such an expensive ride, but hey, gotta try and save some dough somewhere… plus I was trying to get the oems, not the cheap knock-offs.
Anyway, from what I understand there are a few tell-tale signs, but they seem to be conflicting so I was hoping someone else who knows about the differences might be able to help.
From what I know there are 3 things to look at.. 1) the stamp on the outside of the wheel, 2) the weight and 3) the stamps on the inside of the wheel. The outside stamp does have “BMW,” not the “BWM” that I understand replicas have.. but I’m not sure that this necessary implies that its genuine. Also, the weight of the rear wheel came out to 16kg on my bathroom scale (not the 14.4 I understand oem’s are). Granted my scale might not be 100% accurate, the wheel was a little dirty, the valve stem was in it and there were still a couple of the ¼ oz wheel weights, but I’m not sure these would make up the difference. Finally, on the inside of the wheel, I see a “Made in Italy,” which I believe is what the oem’s have.. however I didn’t see a part number or any other markings that would suggest an oem (although I’m not sure what other markings to look for). Does anyone else know what the inside of the wheels are stamped with, or have a picture? Also, any thoughts on the weight? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance..

There is a weight difference and it will say BMW on the inside if it's OEM. If its a replica, than it would say BWM...

Be careful with people selling wheels on eBay. There was a guy on here and eBay trying to pass some replicas as OEM's...
