Getting a Tight New Rack...(Attn: JV)
Dropped the E53 this morning for the voluntary PCV valve issue...mentioned a couple of other rattles and now they are replacing a front speaker, installing a pano roof cassette anti-rattle kit, and replacing the good-for-you-it-is-under-warranty steering rack...I guess that would be an easy ten benjamins otherwise.
I suppose warranty authorization is blowing out all the stops now that the E70 has cracked the shell...anyway, if anyone has a faint steering column rattle have them check the rack...anybody had one go soft at 23k? I hate it when racks go soft....
I was going to pick it up until the parts came in, but, uh, the front end was, like, torn apart.
