Finally everything came through and all parts are in stock.

I just picked up the exhausts at the port and now in Sacramento, so any nor-cal'ers have a x5 that want to participate, I would like to do a test fit and sound clip asap.

What is a ZTek exhaust?? What is the quality of the construction of the mufflers? Will they be a cat back system? Price range?

The sound of the startup and rev is very close to the exhaust but the sound and tone is nice and deep, but it is not obnoxious at all, very respectable sounding startup that your neighbors will not be able to hear in their house. Quiet idle, but slightly deeper note. Reving and hard acceleration is deep and throaty, while highway crusing and around town driving is mild, with ZERO resonance and no droning whatsoever (SAME AS STOCK sound levels while crusing on the freeway).

I know the ZTek exhaust will fit the 3.0 and 4.4 e53 but not 100% positive on the 4.6 and 4.8 motors. But if any tech can verify that the 4.4 and 4.6 or 4.8 exhaust are interchangable that would be great. All testing had been done on 3.0 and 4.4 e53's.
