Blue Carbon

Hey,
As I've said many times, I'm completely redoing my 2001 4.4, from interior to exterior, to suspension, to engine, whatever. I finally decided on a color scheme (all black seemed a bit...dead...), I'm going to pay homage to BMW and do it in all black (just because I like black) but make the seat inserts (Cobra Misano and Cobra Imola GT Technology) inserts and trim blue, with door panel inserts (Alcantara) and sunroof liner white.

So my question is: Has anyone here done a custom trim for their X? I have seen Blue Carbon Fiber trims on other cars and I really think it would work well with this project. Where did you get your custom trim done? How much did it cost? How long did it take?

Thanks a lot as always,

Dave

You can take it to any body shop and they will quote you about $200... or so.

YES But, I'm actually thinking about doing a silver carbon now (as seen at http://gulffabrics.com/carbon.htm) with an all black interior and white alcantara highlights (sunroof, door inserts, maybe seat inserts...depending on if I go with the BMW theme)

Hmm so a local body shop would be able to do it....well, couple more days and I'll be able to swing by Thanks a bunch
