Question HELP! passenger side mirror cracked

hey guys...

X5 2003

i cracked my passenger side mirror, backing out of my garage today..

it still works great, but the mirror is just cracked...

how much is a replacement going to the stealer?

or how easy is it as a DIY

any info would be great...

thanks

Glass only is around $60 or so. Should just snap in.

I did the same with my X5 backing in the garage. The glass and the motor inside is broken. Where can I buy the whole kit and how can I do it myself. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
Rajesh

Follow the instructions on the home page (Interior section) for removing the door panel. Once off, removing the mirror is just a matter of removing 3 or 4 bolts and disconnecting the electrical connectors.

What I needed doesn't pop up on eBay every day, none of the bimmer bone yards I contacted had one in stock, and I wasn't about to pay for a new one
