Bio Fuel for BMW X3- 3.o.d
Is there anyone using bio-disel in there cars? Has anyone had any problems? Last, why are BMW so stupid to warrant cars using bio-fuel in Germany and not the UK, are they getting a handout from the oil companys? Look forward to hearing more about this subject. Derek |

If you use supermarket diesel you could quite well have used bio fuel anyway.

Good Question.
My 2006 3.0d X5 has the same silly factory label "do not use biofuel", and I'm in Portugal. Must be oil company lobbies. I believe lobbies are also in part to blame for the still-existing "emission" restrictions in the US that make it hard for automakers to sell late-generation diesels there. |

A friend of mine are using bio diesel down here in Guatemala on his Mitsubishi Montero, his dealership is ok with it. Don't know if anyone is using on BMWs...

I hear this argument a lot, and almost everyone I know says its complete BS...Theres no problem at all using biofuel in BMW's....I havent the slightest idea how true that is however...Maybe when we get diesels, we'll be able to chime in!
