How many X5's in Spain?????

Just got back from a lovely 2 week holiday in Spain. Can't believe how many X5's (and 3's, come to that!) are out there. WOW!! I must have seen more than 100 of them in the Marbella area. The diesel was more popular, but there were quite a few 4.8's also.

Welcome back. Did you take the X to Spain?
I was in Barcelona in May for a week and didn't spot a single X. Lots of 3's. One thing I noticed was that 90% of the car in Barcelona were dented. The drivers are quite aggressive.

ps. thanks for the help on my flares, finally got them done

No, I hired a car out there. You're right about the dents - every car had at least 1 dent on every panel. There is no way I'd take my X5 over there. The Spanish don't seem to have the same respect for cars as me. They park them so close to other cars and just let the doors swing out. I saw some very expensive Porches, Ferrari's etc etc being driven in the same way a 5 year old would drive a toy car!!!!

Glad you've got the flares AJ.

NOT all the spanish people are as you say. But I confess that many people dont have the same care as you or me with the car. I have an X, and have problems to park (perhaps the problem is the way we build the parkings here, in spain ¿?).
bye,

I agree. The spaces are too narrow for normal cars, let alone 4 by 4's. I saw many drivers park over 2 spaces, only to have a small car or motorbike squeeze in and defeat the whole object of trying to have a wider space between the cars.
