Need Help!!

Hi I have a 2005 X5 4.4i and only has 900 miles on it, when i turn the ignition to on not start position the oil service light has the yellow and red bar together, but when i start the car it stays on only for a few seconds and it goes away... I also have the February build date and have experience the lurching problem 3 times where it feels like you being rear ended and a very bang noise...

The first issue is normal. The second doesn't sound normal. If it's persistant and reproducable then take your Service Advisor out for a drive and point out the concern. If you are only 900 miles into owning it, it's clearly still under warranty and you have every right to expect it to drive properly.
