Just purchased my 02 4.4i!!

I've been searching for quite awhile and finally found the one!!!

02 4.4i Blk/Blk Sport,Prem, Rear Climate packages. Also with NAV and DSP. One thing that I have only seen on one other car, is the rear sliding cargo tray...quite a nice addition.

Car Condition: The exterioir of this car is nearly flawless. There were no paint chips on the front bumper. A few chips around the car and on the hood, but very little for a car that has been driven for 3 years. The interioir of the car is immaculate, sport seats really hold you in well.

Overall Driving Impressions : The truck is simply amazing...Steering response is immediate, road feel is far better than I thought it would be. The power delivery is also very smooth. And the sound of the V8 is very intoxicating!!! THe handling is quite nice for a car of this size and weight. I owned an E36 M3 before this car, and this car's ability to brake and turn has truly impressed me.

Questions: Do you guys who have navigation find the volume to be too low?? I have the Nav volume all the way up and I can barely hear it... on the highway...with music on its near impossible to make out what the directions are...

Welcome aboard!!! It looks like that your X5 is just exactly replica of my X5 that i also bought recently on Apr 30. Mine is also 2002-Black/Black-Nav-Sports pkg-Prem Pks-Rear Climate Pkg-Cold weather Pkg. It really drives fine. This site here will really help in answering almost all of your questions and concerns. Keep on posting your unanswered concerns and friends here will try their best to help you out. UcrewX5 says it right, "xoutpost.com-Where you come for the information but stay for the friendships".

Have fun,

Looks like you found a beautiful ride. Congrats! As far as your nav question, click on the link that was provided to you. The tech tips on this site rock! I did the nav volume and the speed sensitive volume last weekend. Again, congrats on the new wheels and welcome to our world.

Thanks guys for the tremendously warm welcome. Even before I got my truck, you guys were very helpful in helping me learn so much by answering all my questions. I can definitely see myself hanging out here quite a bit…just have to fight the urge to sign on every 15 mins while at work =)

As for the nav volume fix, I will have to check that out tonight.

Now that's a fine vehicle there. The pre-2004 X5s are my favorite, especially in black or silver.
