HELP!!! Garage is trying to say my "sprare tire" caused 15000 in damage

thats right i have my STOCK bmw spare tire on my bmw x5 3.0 AWD and this guy at this indie shop is trying to tell me that my driveshaft popped off the housing cracked the housing and bent my driveshaft bending it and smashing all my trany pans and everything else it could reach, prob is i got it out of the BMW shop the day before on CV's axles and left wishbone. Oh right and the Transmission is BLOWN, I'm F'd,

MY question is: IS this really possible that it's MY fault he's saying that the tire on the drivers side rear that i have on ( spare that 17" not 18" ) and that has been on for 2 days, and is the spare that CAME with my x5, is the cause of this insane break, because its a dif size?? thats what he says, I think he PULLED this out his ass cause he wants my biz and so i don't take it back to bmw, guy just lost my business.
P.S. i was doing a easy 45 when this happened.

I PAID CASH FOR THIS LAST YEAR, AND I'VE DUMPED CLOSE TO 10K GETTING IT SERVICED AND FIXED IN ONE YEAR, NOW THIS. DON'T EVER BUY ONE OF THESE, I'M GOING BACK TO LEXUS. IF I MAYBE GET 10K BACK ON THIS ONE, UNACCEPTABLE BULLSH#$
