I dont know about these specific ones but I have seen a lot of feedback regarding finish, fit, quality and staining from the weather or cleaning materials.

Judging from the pictures they look crap fitted, there just aluminium panels which you fit over the existing and they hang over.

I personally would get OEM.

Did you try to get a price quote from Crevier BMW and mention that you are a X5World member....

thanks for the advice everyone. If i decide to go through with this then i think ill go through crevier. what do they sell them for?

I bought mine from them 2 1/2 years ago for $550, but I think they're under $500 now. Give them a call and get their latest pricing. Oh...don't forget to factor in shipping if you're not in Southern Cal. I had them installed it in the process, thus no shipping charges.
