Baking will more than likely be a problem for you, but if you can get them open, I put angel eyes in for a lot less than $200. Here are the pics I posted a few days ago. You could wire these a drls if you wanted to. I just tied them into my fogs, b/c it was a lot faster and easier.

Why is baking them most likely to be a problem? 2003's are the impossible ones correct? BTW I like your AE's...I may go with your setup!

Thank you, I figured it was worth a shot for how cheap it was, but it could be a prob. b/c hella (the company that makes the headlights) started using the new seal on 10/02 and newer/ Model year 2003 started in aug or sept of 2002, so even if its a 2003 x5 it could have been built in 2002. (like all car companies do)

I have a 2002 (build 10/2001) so I should be able to open them. Anyways, I was hoping to get some some help from JL on this thread...

you are right, my fault I read it wrong. Just look at the DIY on the homepage, its very easy to do.
