nav screen flickers on/off

Hi, can anybody help with an annoying problem that i have had for a while. The Nav screen flashes on/off about every 8-10 seconds, i have been told this is a problem with the trafficmaster that is fitted, it does seem to be linked as when all is well the TM screen works when the button is pushed but when the problem is there the TM button has no effect. Where is the TM module ?? would like to disconnect to eliminate that. Thanks
