mine has auto leveling air suspension, just look in the spare tire well and see if you see two black tanks on either side of the tire with gold caps on them

Self Leveling
How long have you had the car? Have you driven over 300 miles. If under 300 miles, give the car back for refund unless he has an as is sign posted on the vehicle. In that case, it''s all yours. In either case, work it out with the dealer.

Has your dealer the ability to do a DIS adjustment on the setup if so try reseting to default on the DIS and then re-levelling the system, thats the first thing if not then try the sensors, there is one on each side behind the wheel in a small box, they would be very sensitive to the trials of a sea voyage these may need replacing they are about 20USD each. If your dealer doesnt have the DIS then you need any dealer with the BMW diagnositics computer and software by connecting this to your vehicle he can adjust the suspension for you. No matter what the problem is you need the ability to adjust the suspension with the software, once you have lost it. |
